Number 10 Museum in Residence: Laing Art Gallery

Every year, the Government Art Collection showcases the collection of a gallery outside London in 10 Downing Street. This year’s display comes from the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle.

Every year, the Government Art Collection showcases a museum or gallery collection from outside London in 10 Downing Street. This year, these works are from the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery in Swansea.

Number 10 Museum in Residence: The Herbert

Every year, the Government Art Collection has worked with a museum or gallery collection from outside London to showcase artworks in 10 Downing Street. In 2022, the Herbert in Coventry was chosen.

Art X-UK

Art X-UK is the Government Art Collection's annual project that supports work by artists across the UK, alongside regional and national partners.

The Robson Orr TenTen Award

Ten years, ten prints. Every year, the Government Art Collection commissions an outstanding British artist to create a print, with the support of philanthropists Sybil Robson Orr and Matthew Orr.
