  • About the artist
    Born in Leamington Spa in 1944, Philip O’Reilly studied at Coventry College of Art and the Slade School of Art (1959–66). During the 1970s he taught at art schools in the south-east and participated in many group exhibitions. He had solo shows at Angela Flowers Gallery and The Gallery, Bracknell Art Centre between 1973 and 1977. O’Reilly is currently Senior Lecturer and Director of the Art and Theory Matrix course at the Cardiff School of Art & Design, where his main research areas include textiles and digital print. Recent commissions include a digital work for the School of Law at the University of Strathclyde (2006) and murals for the Kings Cross Development in London.
