Bridget Smith was born in Southend on Sea, Essex in
1966. After spending a year at the Central School of Art in
London, she studied at Goldsmiths' College between 1985
and 1988, and from 1993-95. She has had solo exhibitions
at several galleries, including the Studio Gallery, Budapest
(1996) and the Frith Street Gallery, London (1997). Her work
was shown as part of The British Art Show 4 which toured to
Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff in 1995-96.
She lives and works in London.
