This is one of four works in the Collection from Nilupa Yasmin’s Where can I find this? series of hand-cut and woven photographs that were commissioned by Multistory for the Blast Photo Festival 2019 in West Bromwich. For this series, the artist engaged with communities linked to the markets across Sandwell, celebrating the union of people who visit the markets and those who have based their livelihood around them. The resulting colourful and complex patterned images reflect the people and the products for sale.
